How we started and where we're at.

Originally my parents bred pure-bred Bernese Mountain Dogs for 10+ years, and I grew up helping out a lot with the puppies. Now my husband and I have taken over (since the end of 2024) and we breed Aussie Mountain Doodles (1/2 Bernese Mountain Dog, 1/4 Bernedoodle, and 1/4 Australian Shepherd).

Why not stick with pure-bred Bernese? Don't get us wrong, we love Bernese, but we wanted to combine the merle coloring of the Aussie and less shedding due to the doodle as well as try to extend the lifespan overall. All while keeping the build, size, and temperament of the Bernese Mountain Dog.

We raise our dogs as part of the family; we are not a commercial breeder. We love our dogs and strive to breed well-tempered, healthy puppies that go on to be amazing family dogs. We live just a couple of miles outside of Chetek, WI. Our place is on 5 acres in the country so there's plenty of room for our dogs to enjoy.

We currently have 3 dogs Amber, Shelby, and Rocky. Amber is Shelby's mom and is retired (her home will forever be with us so please don't inquire about her). Shelby is currently our only breeding female and Rocky is our male. Amber and Shelby are both pure-bred Bernese Mountain Dogs, both born and raised by me and my parents. Rocky is half Bernedoodle and half Australian Shepherd.

We have our dogs both inside our house and outside. We also have a large kennel setup outside next to our house with an insulated building for them. We have some cats and free range ducks, and the dogs don't bother them.
