Originally my parents bred pure-bred Bernese Mountain Dogs for 10+ years and I grew up helping out a lot with the puppies. Now my husband and I have taken over (since the end of 2024) and we breed Aussie Mountain Doodles (1/2 Bernese Mountain Dog, 1/4 Bernedoodle, and 1/4 Australian Shepherd). Why not stick with pure-bred Bernese? Don't get us wrong, we love Bernese but we wanted to combine the merle coloring of the Aussie and less shedding due to the doodle as well as try to extend the lifespan overall. All while keeping the build, size, and temperment of the Bernese Mountain Dog.
